Community Team – Edinburgh

Our Edinburgh Community Team is funded to support parents and carers living within the City of Edinburgh local authority, focusing on families whose children are neurodivergent, have learning disabilities, or complex disabilities.

Working in partnership with the EDAN Hub and supported by the Edinburgh Whole Family Wellbeing Fund, our team provides information and advocacy around accessing appropriate education, including guidance on support in school, placing requests, and navigating related processes.

Thanks to EDAN Hub funding, we can also support some parents access up to eight free counselling sessions from a panel of independent counsellors (subject to availability). The counsellors work independently and are not employed by Kindred.
