Our Community team based in Edinburgh covers Edinburgh and Lothians responds to around 200 enquiries every year via telephone or email from families. The team of three part time Information and Advocacy workers, including Gill, Anne and Barbara is headed by Community team manager Linda. We support the parents/carers of children aged 0 to 18 years, who have complex disabilities. Our team offer support with the following:

- Assistance with applying for such as (previously known as Disability Living Allowance)
- Assist with support for statutory provision relating to – including , , and
- Informal parent support groups

Scotland wide parent support line: the Community Team also runs a parent support line which provides information, advice and signposting to parents of children with complex needs across Scotland.
