Working together

Partnering with Kindred would mean we are able to be there for families not only supporting their seriously ill child or disabled child, but parents also that are perhaps isolated in a hospital far from their other family members in these difficult times.

Ways you can get involved
There are lots of ways to get involved and make a real impact that will also be good for your business.
Being part of something bigger than yourself is a great way to boost staff morale and bring teams together.
Payroll giving
One of the easiest ways is to join the Give as you earn scheme, which allows your staff to give a small monthly donation direct from their wages and it is tax free.
Volunteering
Being a volunteer is a brilliant way of contributing to society, it gives so much to staff members and can raise their self confidence and give them new skillsets which could be needed by your business.
There are lots of ways in which people can volunteer, from using their existing skills, like giving business knowledge, to supporting fundraising, or offering other practical support.
Whether people are raising money alone or as part of a team, Kindred can offer our support to help you reach your CSR goals. We offer:
- Bespoke support from our fundraising team
- Kindred people’s stories, explaining our case for support.
- Use of our logo for promotional material.
- Full credit and promotion through our own PR, social media, and written material
- Generate coverage of your staff achievements.
- Use of promotional materials and collecting cans etc.
- Provide regular reporting and of course thank you’s to your teams.

Sponsorship
Kindred is the only charity in Scotland that was created and is made up of parents and is still running after 30 years of providing services.
Your sponsorship will help us continue these services and keep supporting families.
Your business might also benefit from the opportunity to enhance your reputation as a socially responsible company.
You might also benefit from the community impact that your business makes.
If you have staff that are sporty, they might like to walk for us at the Kiltwalk or take part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival or any other challenge/event they might be up for.
You might like to Sponsor us for a day or you might like to do a combination of the ideas above to support us more generally.
