Maya works Wednesdays and Thursdays

I have worked for Kindred since 2022 when I started as a parent facilitator for the Early Positive Approach to Support programme.  I started at my post as Information and Advocacy Worker in early 2024.

My first contact with Kindred was a desperate request for support for a family member.  I still remember the relief of being listened to and supported, and this is what I hope to continue providing for Kindred families. I enjoy working for Kindred because the team is almost entirely made up of people who have had personal experience of accessing education and/or health services for a child with additional support needs, and that adds up to a wealth of experience and understanding of our families’ needs.

I am a mum of 3 teenage girls, a cat, a dog and 3 pet hens.
