Hospital Team
Our Hospital Team is based in the Family Corridor of the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (RHCYP) in Edinburgh.
Our team works closely with inpatient families, providing Independent Advocacy, emotional and practical support
How we make a difference
Looking after a child in hospital can have a big impact on family life and there are many practical ways in which we can offer support. Here are some examples:
- Advocacy at meetings with hospital staff
- Assistance with arranging to leave hospital (‘discharge planning’)
- Funding applications including assistance with travel costs
